While we paused regular publication of the site on September 15, 2017, and transitioned some of our coverage to Oceans Deeply, we are happy to serve as an ongoing public resource on the Arctic. Andreas Østhagen Senior Fellow and Leadership Group Member, the Arctic Institute

Andreas Østhagen is a senior fellow and leadership group member at the Arctic Institute. His research and writing focuses on natural resource developments and security policy of the circumpolar region. Andreas is also an affiliated fellow at the Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies in Oslo (IFS) and the High North Center at Bodø Business School. He is completing a PhD at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, under the supervision of Professor Michael Byers.
