Colonel Pierre Leblanc (retired) Former Commander, Joint Task Force North

Colonel Pierre Leblanc (retired) is a former commander of Joint Task Force North (Yukon, Nunavut and Northwest Territories). He was involved in several search and rescue operations in the Arctic. He has spent in excess of nine years in the Arctic, where he has travelled extensively including Alaska and Greenland. From April 2014 to March 2016 he managed the North Warning System, the line of 47 air defence radar stations that runs from Alaska to Newfoundland.
