Alfonzo Abeyta is a rancher and longtime resident of Mogotes, Colorado. He’s the cochair of the Rural Coalition’s Farm and Ranch Team. He is also the president of the Colorado Latino Farmer and Ranchers Trade Association. He and his family raise sheep and cattle and grow alfalfa. The Abeyta family are among the area’s first Hispanic settlers.
