Alicia Medina is a Spanish freelance reporter. She has contributed to eldiario.es, El Confidencial, Revista 5W and A Punt Media. She directed a documentary (“La Porta Blava,” 2015) about migrant detention centers in Spain that was screened at six cinema festivals and broadcast on Catalan television station TV3. She is currently working toward an M.A. in war and conflict information.
