Fazal Muzhary joined Afghanistan Analysts Network in 2015. Previously, he worked as a reporter with the New York Times in Kabul and other international media outlets. He has been in journalism since 2006. He has also done investigative reporting and book research with renowned international authors and writers on Afghanistan.
