Heather Alexander is an expert on statelessness, refugee law and migration, and a PhD candidate in law at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. She has 10 years of experience working on migration and human rights in Australia, Gabon, Chad, Sri Lanka, Kosovo and the United States, including several positions with UNHCR.
