Thousands of Syrian women now living as refugees in Jordan are reliant on healthcare centers supported by the United Nations Population Fund for treatments such as counseling and reproductive health. But U.S. President Donald Trump has cut funding to the body, putting the future of many of these centers at risk. News Deeply met one Syrian woman who says the treatment she has received at the Madaba center transformed her life, and worries what will happen to her and her family if it is forced to close down.
